Coach Scott Stewart- Played at the University of Florida 1989-1993. After college he went on to play professionally for 12 years. He has been to over 50 countries either playing or coaching basketball in the past 30 years. Scott is currently the head varsity basketball coach at First Baptist Academy . He is entering into his 18th year. At FBA he has over 300 wins, multiple final four appearances, and 10 20-win seasons. Scott is still active in playing and coaching and partners with Professional basketball programs such as NBA Cares, BCI edge, Athletes in Action, Sports Power, and 4TL SE Asia. Scott has been the head of the hoops program with For the Love Basketball since 2008 and he works closely with international coach Dave Bobalik who resides in SE Asia.

Coach Don Stewart: Has 50 years of coaching experience in both college and high school. Coach Don Stewart played college basketball at Eastern Michigan University where he started at point guard and played with the legendary NBA Hall of Fame George "The Iceman" Gerving. The former head coach of Lely High school for 26 years won 456 games and 8 district titles, 6 Elite 8 titles, and 1 runner up State Championship. Don serves as one of our main clinicians, and consultants for both First Baptist Academy and 4TL Basketball Academy.

Coach Carlos Clark: Played for the 1984-85 NBA World Champions Boston Celtics. Played pro ball internationally as well. He was a 2 time SW FLA coach of the year at Barron Collier HS where he coached his son to a 1st team all state performance. His son Dion went on to receive a full scholarship at Old Dominion University. Coach Carlos serves as an volunteer assistant coach at First Baptist Academy and is one of our main coaches at 4TL Basketball Academy.

Coach Matt Rose He graduated from Gardner-Webb University (Boiling Springs, NC) in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and minor in Business Administration. He then graduated the next year in 2021 with a Master’s Degree in Sport Management. Coach Rose spent 3 years on staff with GWU as head student manager working on film breakdown, skill development, and game plan development. He also spent another year as one of the coaches for the Developmental Team that had 2 members called up to the main team. During his time at GWU, he also interned with the Director of Basketball Operations, the Compliance Office, and Athletic Director. The Runnin’ Bulldogs won the Big South and made the NCAA Tournament in 2019 and held the largest lead on eventual national champion Virginia that season. Before GWU, Coach Rose played for Coach Stewart at First Baptist Academy.

Played at Lely high school, was all conference, all county, district and regional 3 point champion. Played at Southeastern University and have a Bachelors degree in Social Studies. Served 5 years in the marine corps infantry. I have been coaching for 10 years.

Coach Isaiah played high school ball for his father at First Baptist Academy where he led his team to a Final 4 appearance and won many district titles as a point guard. Isaiah graduated from FGCU with a Finance degree and is currently nicknamed the “ Hoop Genius” where he currently teaches Math and Basketball to many Student-Athletes. Isaiah currently coaches both boys and girls teams.

Kelli Cunningham played basketball at Santa Fe College and now works with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Collier County. Kelli works with middle and high school students, using sports to share the love of Jesus and help kids grow in their faith on and off the court.
